Aho-Yee's Visit

Aho-Yee was how Gemma pronounced "auntie" in Mandarin at the beginning when she was around 2, and now she can already speak it the correct way - Ah-yee (auntie). Ah-yee's name is Jia and she is my best friend since we were 16 years old. We met each other on the first day of college and became best friends ever since.

After graduation from her study in London, Jia decided to visit us for a month in the UAE. When she came, Gemma was immediately bonded with her - not sure whether that one big box of legos had helped speed up the process...
As for what Jia's thought about the desert life-style, she has her own blog to express that. For me, Jia's visit is just wonderful!She is leaving in about a week. :( I am already nervous about how I am going to tell Gemma when she asks me for Ah-yee. I hope Jia feels GUILTY when she reads this - and I know that she knows what I mean...
