Day One in Grade One

I thought the sentimental feeling about Gemma going to school had vanished as she had been to the kindergarten for two years already. However, seeing her this morning in her new uniform for the new school, I still couldn't help to hug her tightly. "I gonna miss you when you are in school. Just stay home with mommy forever," I said (my separation anxiety always was obviously stronger than hers).

Of course, I brought my camera to capture Gemma's first day being a proud grade one student. She acted so calm and quiet. Oskar tagged along with us to the school as well. He gave Gemma a nice hug and kiss goodbye when we left her classroom.
