I see you Gemma

Gemma used to be the centre of all attention and was always greeted with loads of compliments from the hotel staff. The table has turned after the birth of her little brother, now Oskar is the one who gets the praises and love.

The hardest part for me was seeing people(incl. strangers) notice Oskar right away, didn't response to Gemma saying hello and just start playing with the baby.  Meanwhile, Gemma tried to start a conversation and was ignored completely.

Sometimes it was Mikael and I who got amused by Oskar's new "trick" like when he was doing a funny dance or move and forgot to check on Gemma. When Gemma interrupted the moment, we might even be saying something that was harsh to a kid.

Gemma never acted unkind to Oskar and loves her little brother from her heart. I think she totally deserves to have the World Best Big Sister Award!
