Enough with Two

I was reminded today that Oskar would soon to be a year old in November. This year has gone by really fast.  With four teeth showing, Oskar was smiling and roaming around our home to find sturdy support to stand himself up. Pointing with his right index finger, he wanted me to fetch something that I didn't want him to get hold of.

Gemma was crying the other day and telling me that Oskar had managed to pull off the shining ribbons that were hanging at the end of her pink Barbie bike. Heck, those ribbons were the best part of the bike in her eyes! Now the bike lost the flares.

Occasionally, Oskar would defend himself by shouting back to his big sister when she snatched the toy from his hands. He then get a cold shoulder and a pair of white eyes for return.

Having two children has changed me.  I have learned to give in to many things that I would have minded in the past. If Oskar would quiet down by chewing the bottom of his sister's slipper, let him do it. When Gemma came to ask for a piece of chocolate on a non-candy day during the time I was trying to put Oskar down for a nap, I told her she could get two pieces as long as she quickly tip-toe out of the bedroom without waking up her brother.

Having kids are great! They literally and practically fulfil my life. Every once a while when I took portrait photos for young babies, I wanted to be pregnant again. I think I will eventually...especially when my body grows out another arm.  Otherwise, it's one arm for one child, and there's no vacancy at the moment.

  2. I'm sure Jemma's changed your desire of being pregnant again, even though you became to have 3arms. Hahaha~
