Friends Forever!
First time when we met Family Choso, little Sakura was just a newborn around 8 weeks old and Gemma was a 6 months old baby. Both Family Choso and our family were in the waiting area at the Golders Green medical clinic for visiting the health visitor. We chatted and became friends, and created many wonderful memories during the time we all lived in London.
We would never forget our last day in our London flat, Family Choso was with us(they actually became our next-door neighbour). They were very sad about our moving and burst into tears. Not one day passed after our relocation, we didn't think of that emotional farewell and our dearest Family Choso.
Fumitaka finished his master study this spring and on his way moving back the family to Tokyo, they dropped by the desert to see us. We were very pleased!
At the begining of their holiday with us, Kaori and Sakura turned ill...we felt extremely sorry for them. Just when they were getting better, Gemma became sick and eventually spent four days hospitalised. At last, everyone was fit again, yet it was on the last day of Family Choso's stay in UAE. We grabbed the last chance and drove madly from Al Ain to Dubai and tried to have a fun time before their midnight flight back to Tokyo.
We spent our day in Global Village, and had a feast in Wagamama+TGI Fridays in the evening. Sakura and Gemma were like sisters. Knowing that they were going to be seperated not long after, it made my heart sank. :(
We gave our best wishes and hope to see each other again whether it would be in the Middle East or Japan. Our friendship is certainly very precious to us. Fumitaka said that once our daughters get older, they will go and stay with each other's family like the exchange students do.
When will our next meeting be? We are longing for little Sakura and the always smiley Fumitaka and Kaori!
